SAE 1045 (C45 / S45C)

SAE 1020 (C20 / S20C)
SAE 1020 steel is a low-carbon or “mild” steel which means it has a carbon content below 0.3%. In addition to carbon, 1020 steel contains manganese, sulfur, and phosphorus for ordinary applications.
